ALL watercraft MUST stop for inspection!

Please be aware that ALL watercraft must stop for inspection as you enter the Bear Lake valley. There are check stations in Garden City and Laketown. This includes kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, inflatables etc. Please make sure they are Clean, Drained and Dried before you get to Bear Lake.

You may have noticed that if you do not stop at the check stations at the entries of Garden City and Laketown that your vehicle will be stopped by the Sheriff or DWR.  They are really trying to stop the invasion of quagga mussles into our beautiul Bear Lake.
