Bear Lake Marina Expansion Update – June 6th, 2025

Fencing and buoys have been installed along the perimeter of the construction zone for the Bear Lake Marina Expansion project. For the safety of construction crews and visitors, please be aware of this construction zone and avoid the area. We ask that you also avoid parking along the highway near the marina or accessing the beaches or lake in this area, even when active construction activities are not occurring.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to improve Bear Lake Marina. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all.

What to Expect

Continued use of heavy machinery to import and place fill material at the marina expansion site.
The existing marina, office, and south restrooms and showers will remain open and accessible throughout the project. The north restroom and pavilion will remain open for the 2025 season.
The north beach area will be closed during the construction of the marina expansion.
Enhanced safety protocols will be implemented to protect the work area. This includes constructing a fence around the edge of the construction site and deploying buoys around the lakeside area. Visitors should not access these areas at any time so that we can maintain a safe work zone.
Heavier traffic is expected as crews transport materials and equipment to construct the expansion.
