No one wants a teen stuck at home. Get them vaccinated to keep COVID out of school and keep them in class and at extracurricular activities.

Encouraging all school staff and students 12 years and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19 is an important prevention strategy. We ask all Utahns to carefully consider getting vaccinated and to seek out credible information about the vaccines from their healthcare provider and reputable health organizations. The vast majority of all COVID-19 deaths, hospitalizations, and cases in Utah are happening to people who are not vaccinated. It’s important for parents to talk to their child’s trusted healthcare provider if they have questions or concerns about vaccinations.
COVID-19 vaccinations are FREE and available to anyone 12 and older. The Pfizer vaccine is the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized for children 12 to 17 years old. All three vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are authorized for people ages 18 and older.

As a former instructor of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare I see incompetents. Not one Prevention Specialist has been called to educate citizens on the proper prevention methods or technology for prevention. Shame on all those who could do the right thing. Politicians and ignorant people think that doctors are the answer but none are trained in that field. Doctors are trained to treat and never trained in prevention. The only place I see correct applications is in hospital isolation rooms.
Wearing a dust mast will not protect anyone from a virus. If a mask can't protect you from tear gas then it's sure not going to protect you from a virus.
There is technology available that could eradicate the virus to as normal a a common cold.
As an example the Far UVC at 222 nm lights would kill off the virus. Has anyone even mentioned that. People are not informed about preventing contamination procedures. The masts are are that endanger everyone, and I can prove that with the smoke with one cigarette. The doctors I talked to say the mask is doing more harm than good. Wearing a dust mask collects all the stuff you're body is trying to get rid of but held in front of your respiratory system, bad news. If you want to wear a mast please use a proper one with separate in and out air paths and that only happens with a sealed mask. I know you will just think I'm a nut but that doesn't change the fact that mask mandate is a criminal act. Anyone forced to weare a dust mask it committing a felony crime. First is RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT next is COERCION and you could also add on ATEMPTED MURDER. Mandates could be charged with ATTEMPTED GENOCIDE. That sounds weird but it can be applied in court. If you promote dust masks for anyone then eventually you will be held accountable.

Well, Unknown, that's interesting, wrong, and most importantly irrelevant to the article, which encourages vaccines. Also, as a lawyer for 35 years now, your attempt at applying criminal law concepts to masks is laughable. But, as I say, irrelevant to the article. My reason for commenting was originally to be sure we knew how to spell quarantine, but that seems trivial now too. Get vexed everyone, if not for you, for your neighbor.
