NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADOPT IMPACT FEE for the Garden City Fire District

 Garden City Fire District, gives notice of its intent to update the current impact fee resolution R2018-04-01 for the Public Safety Facility. 

This resolution will add mobile/RV parks which were not included in the 2018 analysis. 

Garden City Fire District will hold a Public Meeting and Hearing on February 8, 2022 at 6:00 PM.  The meeting and hearing will be held in the Fire Station located at 145 W. Logan Road, Garden City, UT 84028

The purpose of the Public Meeting and Hearing is to explain why mobile and RV parks are required to be included in the Impact Fee Resolution and to receive comments regarding the adoption of this resolution.  All interested persons will be given reasonable opportunity to be heard.

Copies of the Impact Fee Facility Plan and Analysis, including a Certification of the resolution will be available for public review beginning January 15, 2022 at the Garden City Library.  A copy will also be posted on the Utah Public Notice Website.  If you have questions, please contact Randall Knight at (801) 602-1752.

In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act, the district will make reasonable accommodations for assistance by calling the Fire Chief at (435) 881-6313 at least three days before the Public Meeting.

John Farmer Piano Concert

 

The concert held in the tabernacle for January will feature pianist James Farmer from Montpelier.  James is an extraordinarily talented pianist and recently returned missionary from our valley.  He will be performing and sharing experiences from his mission.  The concert will be held in the tabernacle on Sat, January 29th at 7:00 PM
