RANDOLPH, Utah.
September 5, 2018. LuJean Argyle,
Rich County Treasurer, said that the
Woodruff Cemetery Board needs to get reports into the state.
She said that she has called board members, over and over and is withholding their
checks, until the reports are sent. It
has been eight months since the reports were due. Commissioners said that the board may need
to be replaced if they are not doing their jobs.
Argyle asked Commissioners to approve a three year contract
with Broken Heart Rodeo Company at $11,200.
Commissioner Norm Weston said, “They put on a pretty good rodeo.”
The request was approved.
The sanitation fees for Sweetwater trailer park lots have
not all been paid, Argyle said. If there
is nothing fixed on a lot there are no sanitation fees, however if they are on
tax rolls with a secondary trailer, owners are required to pay the same as Swan
Creek RV park even though the the
trailer is only there in the summer.
There are at least 28 lots with sheds, said Argyle. There are 55 total lots which are past
due. There are also 43 Swan Creek lots with unpaid
fees and 49 which are paid. Argyle said
that if there are hookups on the lots fees should be paid.
Unpaid sanitation, is
added to the the owner’s tax bill. Some are two and three years
delinquent. Commissioners said that the
past due amounts should be delinquent for one year before there is a lien put
on their lot and reflected in their taxes.
Argyle said that there is now $45,000 due from trailer lots.
