GARDEN CITY, Utah. Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Chairman Randall Knight opened the meeting with all board members present.
Chief Wahlberg reported on further ongoing work on the building addition, and on the “Marine 40”, the department’s boat that is still being worked on, mostly by the department volunteers.
There was a discussion at length on further additions to the policy and procedures manual.
There have been many false alarms, many due to fire alarm companies responding to their clients needs. After a second false alarm there will be a warning and on the third there will be a $500 fine.
The responses for the month were:
1 - Multistructural fire at Sweetwater trailer park for which the department was highly praised for their work.
2 - False alarms
2 - Carbon Dioxide alarms
4 - Fire alarms
18 - Medical calls
1 - Semi truck crash at raspberry square with structural damage
