Notice of Cancellation of Garden City 2025 Primary Election

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under Utah Code §10 3 301(2)(a), a Primary Election is required only if more than twice the number of candidates have filed for an office. According to the official 2025 Municipal Election notice, the following races have been declared: General Election Information Notice of Municipal Offices and candidates to be voted on in the Garden City Municipal General Election held on November 4, 2025: (1 seat) Mayoral Candidates - 4 year term Michael I. Leonhardt Cheree F. Lutz (2 seats) Town Council Members - 4 year term Dan R. Larsen James Bradley Davis The number of candidates for each office does not exceed twice the available vacancies (for example, only two candidates for two council seats). Under state law, this eliminates the need for a Primary Election.
Notice of Special Accommodations:
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this public hearing should notify the Garden City Office at (435) 946-2901, 69 N. Paradise Parkway, Garden City, Utah, on Monday through Friday, at least 3 working days prior to the public hearing. The office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
