Garden Ciity General Election
A general election will be held in Garden City on November 4, 2025. This is a vote-by-mail election only.
Election Ballot and Drop Off location is at 69 North Paradise Parkway, Building B, in Garden City. This location will be open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on November 4, 2025. Qualifications for persons voting in this election and other information can be found at vote.utah.gov or gardencityutah.gov You may contact the Town of Garden City office at 435-946-2901 with questions.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this public hearing should notify the Garden City Office at (435) 946-2901, 69 N. Thank you to those who were able to attend the LEPC meeting in Rich County a few weeks ago.
I wanted to make sure it got put on your calendar the change in dates for our future meeting. The meetings will take place on the 3rd Wednesday at 4pm in Feb, May, Aug, and Nov. The meetings in Feb and Aug will be at the Garden City Fire Station & EOC. The meetings in May and Nov will be in Randolph at the Courthouse building.

Garden City Fire District is requesting applications for the Fire Board
Applicants must be
at least twenty-one years old and live within the district. This is a four year appointment and requires
the board members to attend the monthly meeting held at 6:00PM on the third
Monday of each month at the Fire Station.
The members must attend at least 7 of the 12 monthly meetings and complete
an on-line Local District Board Member
Training session plus other online training required. It would be desirable that the applicant have
previous board or team experience, computer literate capable of writing, email,
texting and familiar with financial budgets, but not mandatory.
If the position cannot be filled
with a primary resident, a secondary resident may be considered. This position will be required to attend as
many meetings as possible in person; but required to attend via telecon when
out of town. The minimum annual attendance and on-line training is the same.

off at the Fire Station, with a board member or emailed to Randall Knight at mumknight374@gmail.com. The position will remain open until an
acceptable candidate is selected.

Marina Update
We are pleased to report that progress on the Bear Lake Marina Expansion Project is running smoothly. The initial phase, consisting of placing fill for the future upland parking area, is nearly complete, marking a significant milestone for the project. We will now begin putting fill for the breakwater dikes that will extend into the lake to protect the future marina. This effort will increase the amount of material being transported and placed at the marina.

- Boaters: Please remain outside the designated buoy lines near the construction zone and exercise caution while on the water.
- Motorists: Use extra care when driving near the construction site, especially when entering or exiting the marina parking lot. Reduced speeds are strongly encouraged.
We appreciate the public’s continued cooperation and patience as we work to enhance the Bear Lake Marina for long-term recreational use and access.
