Bear Lake Watch Feb 23, 2013 Hello Bearlakers, Just wanted to give you a heads-up on a bill in the Utah legislature. We have received information on a bill proposed in the Utah Legislature regarding uses on the beach at Bear Lake. I wanted to get it out to you to evaluate and to contact your legislator if you are so moved. It is scheduled for a committee meeting on Tuesday, Feb 26. (see link below) This is mainly directed to those of you with Utah interests, but it's still a good FYI for those in Idaho. I have included the black-lined* bill HB333 plus my basic overview of what is being changed. It is up to you, as a citizen of the state of Utah to evaluate these proposals from your own perspectives and determine your position on these changes.
