June 8, 2013 is designated as Rich County Day at Rendezvous Beach.
Bear Lake State Park will turn back the Day Use entrance fee 20 years, from the current $8 to $3 per vehicle when the driver of the vehicle shows a proper identification with a Rich County, Utah address.
For the days of June 5 through June 12, 2013, the Utah Army National Guard will be conducting training south and west of the Bear Lake valley.
On Saturday June 8, the Utah Army National Guard will have one of its helicopters and some of its staff on display in the Day Use parking lot at Rendezvous Beach. Park visitors will be able to get a close look at the helicopter and will also be able to ask questions to the National Guard staff members.
