Rich Civic Times
GARDEN CITY, Utah. August 20, 2015. The Garden City Fire District Board held its regular monthly
meeting. Present were
board members Jenny England, Howard Pope, and Brian House. Absent were Perry Wakefield and Randall
Knight.
The meeting was very brief.
Chief Wahlberg noted that the Raspberry Days breakfast had a smaller
attendance than normal but that it was a success. Assistance in operation and clean up was provided
by the Rich High girls drill team, who earned $1624.00 for their work. They use the money to assist with the costs
of uniforms and expenses incident to drill team events.
During the month there were 13 medical assists provided, 4
boat distress needs answered, and 1 dumpster fire at the Marina was put out.
