Residents and travelers can expect to see increased smoke in the afternoon due to higher temperatures and lower relative humidity. Ground and air attack efforts will focus on active fire near the perimeter.
Peterson Hollow Fire started on August 21, 2016. It is located on both the Logan and Montpelier Ranger Districts. It is approximately 23 miles north of Logan, Utah. Beaver Mountain Ski Area has structure protection in place. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
