Randall Knight presided - All board members present
Most of the meeting was
spent on discussing and then passing the budget for 2022.
The board voted for an increase of 10% for the volunteer firefighters.
The construction update was given and very little is left to be done. The cabinets have been installed and are awaiting granite tops and the water heater will be installed shortly.
The Fire District was
grateful for two gifts given by anonymous donors this past month.
The first is the green
ARFF Marine 1,000 gallon fire fighting truck that is sitting alongside the
building. It will be painted shortly and used as a wildland truck.
The second is a low
pressure airbag system that will be used for rescues. It lifts large and heavy
items.
