It’s that busy time of the year for Rich County. School is out. Family time is filled with kids’ sports, reunions, and long anticipated vacations. Bear Lake is filled with visitors. Ranchers are irrigating, branding and will soon be haying. What a blessing it is to live in this beautiful county of ours, and also our beloved USA! To enjoy the freedoms that are ours!
As the election winds
down, and our thoughts turn to celebrating our country, I hope we take the time
to ponder what a privilege it is to vote. Some of the best blood in our
country’s history was spilt for that right. Voting is at the heart of our
democracy. It may seem like a small thing to do, but it is a voice we all have,
and it is a right we should never take for granted. As your ballots arrive, I
urge you to make your voice be heard. If you have not received a ballot, please
contact the clerk’s office at 793-2415. God Bless Rich County and God Bless
America!
