Charmaine Meadows Hoffman passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, in her home in Randolph at the age of 80 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born the oldest of two children to her parents Warren and Marian Meadows of Evanston where she grew up.
Charmaine went to school in
Evanston and met her husband, Richard Hoffman, of Randolph and they were later
married and lived in Randolph on the family ranch until moving to Kemmerer.
They were sealed in the Logan,Utah, Temple in 1970.
After her husband’s retirement in
Kemmerer they moved back to Randolph and spent their remaining years there.
Charmaine worked at several jobs, including at a bank in Kemmerer, while
raising their four children.
Her husband preceded her in
death, also dying from cancer. Her parents; brother Dee; her son Craig and
daughter Lisa, have also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Kelly
(Myrna) Hoffman and daughter Charlene (Barry) McLean, along with many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charmaine considered her family
her greatest treasure and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them.
She loved and collected teddy bears and has blessed others with sharing them.
Funeral services were held at the
Randolph chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday,
Jan. 7, Internment was at the Randolph Cemetery.
