Fisheries Biologist-Bryce Nielsen

Bear Lake turns green on Highwater years. The water out of the bear river is warmer and more nutritious which makes for zooplankton blooms. There’s very little sediment in the water. This addition of nutrients to the lake will help the fisheries in the long haul. Right now the brown/green is temporary. Pics at the north end sediment is being disturbed with a rare south east wind
