Bear Lake Monster Movie

 Dallin McKinney is one of the producers and director of photography for the Bear Lake Monster Movie that they are planning on filming this year. 

Over three years ago, Dallin had been cast as one of the lead actors for the Bear Lake Monster movie, and they had shot a "Proof of Concept" video in order to get more investors. This year he was brought on as a Producer and Cinematographer for the movie.  After he and his family arrived in Bear Lake, they found out that the investor decided to pull out.

He reached out to the businesses in Bear Lake to see if he could use the cinema gear and their talent to benefit the city. They wanted to make enough to continue with the movie. 

This last week they came up and shot an amazing 4th of July video for the First Responders of Rich County, a promo video for Legacy Beach Resort, and beautiful videos of the lake and surrounding areas for the Bear Lake Valley Visitors and Convention Bureau.  While here, they fell in love with the people here. They were able to make about 25% of what they need for the movie, but it's enough to get it started, and he and his wife are going to be putting in some of their own money. 

The biggest thing they are running into now is finding a place to house 10 people (cast and crew) during the month of August. They have a couple of roles available and we would LOVE to cast somebody from Rich County to be in the movie.
