Bear Laker Blocked By Opal Explosion

OPAL Wyoming.  April 24, 2014.  Former Garden City Councilwoman Elizabeth Seiler was traveling to Bear Lake to open her home for the summer tourists when there was an explosion and fire at a natural gas pipeline in Opal, Wyoming.  She had to backtrack 30 miles out of her way even though she was very close to Garden City on Highway 30.  The Associated Press reported that there were no buildings damaged and the fire was confined, but most of the town's 95 residents were evacuated. The photo above shows the smoke from the fire.
