professionals, health professionals, and other interested community members in
developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing district-wide nutrition and
physical activity policies. The school
will serve only fat free or low-fat (1%) and 2% milk and
nutritionally-equivalent non-daily alternatives (to be defined by USDA; and
ensure that 51% of the served grains are whole grain.

allowed in secondary school in Rich School Districts during approved times.
Policy 601.3.4.1 requires the
hiring of assistant coaches to be subject to the same procedures as are
applicable to the hiring of full-time coaches.
All volunteers are subject to
a background check. A $25.00 fee,
which will be paid by the District, will be assessed. This will be an on-going requirement. A background check is good for 5 years. This background check will require pre-planning
of any activities, whether on or off campus, where volunteers will be involved.
A proposal dealing with wages
and benefits was accepted by both the Employed and Classified personnel. It was reported that both employee groups
felt the Board was fair and open with them during negotiations.
