4-H Happenings

Rich County 4-H had an exciting 2021 year! At the Achievement Night held Nov. 1st Jennifer Casillas from Garden City was named 4-H Leader of the year. Jennifer puts her whole heart into everything she is involved in, from her family, to her day care, to 4-H and the quiet, sweet things she does for others. Congratulations Jennifer.

4-H Member of the Year is Tanner Nelson from the 4-H Family of the year Brian and Tiffany Webb Nelson from Laketown. This awesome family (with 5 boys ) keeps everyone going to activities.

The Craig Hoffman Memorial Volunteer Award was given to Kalon Downing and the Premier Exhibitor was Sage Bradshaw.

The State Horse Show Exhibitor is Sarah Wamsley. Other State Fair Exhibitors: Darcy Bradshaw; Dominique Casillas; Emmalee Casillas; Madison Moldenhauer; Carson Nelson; Whitley Payne; Sarah Wamsley; and Kasey Wilson.

Out of the 44 Belt buckles awarded, the Bear Country Club raised the money for 30 buckles at $100 each. A big thank you to the sponsors of the kids efforts to improve their Head, Heart, and Hands the 4-H way.
