Synopsis:
Chairman Dan Kurek, board members: Kendra Bjoralt, Joey
Stocking, and Susann House were present as well as City Code Enforcer, Glen
Gilles. The secretary was Sharlene Millard.
There was discussion on final approval for the Kimball
Commercial presented by Kimball Strickland which is located on Kimball Lane.
They have to figure out the ingress and egress for the development. Questions
were about sharing a road to manage the frontage, and how deliveries were to access
the store fronts or backs, a possible sidewalk for easy access to various
stores, sanitation was discussed, and a retention pond. They were denied as
currently presented.
Discussion was held on the rezone for Blue Vista Hills. This
property is located west across from the Chevron. They will bring a
preliminary/conceptual plan within a year.
Another discussion represented by Zach Swensen centered on
the 5 lot subdivision between Solum’s and 250 S. A flood plain discussion was
held to make sure the water flows into an area that will hold runoff. This
passed the preliminary and they will come back for the final approval.
Matt and Amber Larsen presented a plan to build 4 commercial
steel buildings with apartments in the building on the property located to the
south of Monster Storage. This was discussion only.
Spinnaker Point asked an amended approval to change the name
condo on the plat to townhomes. The townhomes have been inspected to comply
with the name townhome. The owners will need to separate a water hookup that
serves to townhomes so that they can be individually metered. Passed with
contingencies.
Water’s Edge continued development was denied as currently
presented.
