Laurel Dee Whittington – born
August 4th 1939, in Logan Utah, died suddenly at home in McCammon Idaho on June
15th 2022.
He was the son of DeVerl Charles
Whittington and Virginia Bunderson of Garden City Utah. Dee worked as an
Aerospace Engineer for Litton Guidance and Control Systems in Salt Lake City UT
and retired in 2000. He enjoyed his retirement in Morgan UT and McCammon,
ID where he farmed and tinkered with tractors, cars and anything else that
could be disassembled.
He is survived by his wife Andrea
Parker Whittington, his son David D Whittington (Telma) of South Ogden, and his
daughter Jennifer Petersen of Bountiful Utah. Preceded in death by his
son, Kenneth DeVerl Whittington, and his parents. Grand children: Parker
Petersen (Olivia), Taylor Petersen (Desi), Chase Petersen, Annie Petersen
and Erika Anglesey.
Funeral Service were at the
McCammon Stake Center in McCammon, Idaho, on Sat. June 25th at 11 AM with a
viewing at 10 AM. The stake center is located at 403 West 16th street in
McCammon Idaho. Interment at the Garden City cemetery in Garden City Utah at 3
PM
