Hello Friends, Rich School District has set a goal to make literacy and daily reading a habit in all Rich County homes.
We have set a goal to read at least one book for every citizen in the county. Our current population is 2,687. Our students need help to reach this goal by January 1st.
Reading improves cognitive function, helps build critical thinking skills, improves vocabulary, increases empathy towards others, and builds skills for future success.
To participate please pick a book you’ve been wanting to read and take the time to get it completed. Once completed there is a link on the district website (www.richschool.org) to record your book. We look forward to hearing about your books and hearing of the excitement that reading can bring into our lives.
Our children learn what is important by watching the adults around them. Help us to reach our literacy goals!
Thank you Rich County!
