Good Stuff! Knight Owl by Christopher Denise
A few weeks ago my grandson had his third birthday, and he received a surprisingly wonderful picture book called Knight Owl by Christopher Denise.
Denise is a professional illustrator. Here he uses those
skills to illustrate a story of his own making. And the result is absolutely
delightful.
It’s about a little guy named Owl. Since the day he hatches,
Owl dreams of becoming a real knight. And then one day the knights start to
disappear, and the king and queen need all the help they can get, and so Owl
gets his chance.
I loved the illustrations. Every single page. And I loved
the story, especially the surprising and funny way Owl defeats the enemy.
If you like children’s picture books, or if there’s a little
kiddo in your life that you think might like a grand adventure, I think you
will love this book. Get it. And then sit down with them, read it together, and
enjoy!
