Republican Caucus Meeting

The GOP Precinct 5 Meeting was held in the Mountain View room above the library at 7:00 - 8:30PM.  The residents in the precinct were notified of the meeting by social Facebook and other social media items.  Only 12 people attended of 220 registered voters.  After electing the 2026 leaders for the precinct there was a passionate discussion about the proposed change of County Commissioners from 3 to 5.  The majority of members agreed they don’t want what happened in Summit county to happen here and would like more information about the whole process of changing.  Below is the election form showing the positions required to be filled and who volunteered  or were elected.
