Rich High Girls Volleyball took a three-set loss the previous time they played St. Joseph, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Jayhawks 3-2 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Jayhawks on September 4th, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rich got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-6.

Rich has been performing incredibly well recently, winning seven of their last eight contests. That's given a healthy boost to their 12-7 record this season. As for St. Joseph, the loss snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 20-5 record. 

On Saturday, Oct 10, 2026, the Rich Varsity Girls Volleyball team lost their match against Snow Canyon High School by a score of 0-3.

Trapper Farnsworth's second-quarter interception return for a touchdown put South Sevier (3-5) ahead for good, leading to a 55-27 nonregion victory over Rich (6-3). With the score briefly tied at 14, Farnsworth's 25-yard return sparked a 21-point quarter for the Rams, including scores by Masen Healey and Cooper Castle. Farnsworth also contributed offensively with a 10-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. South Sevier maintained their lead despite a 37-yard touchdown run by Rich's Brady Cornia early in the third. Quarterback Rayce Freeman connected twice with Daxton Lovell for touchdowns, solidifying the Rams' decisive win.
