There appears to be some inconsistencies with this plan. Who actually owns the software? Was it developed while Mr. Peterson was on the Garden City payroll? Did the City provide the data to test and refine the software? I am somewhat uncomfortable with the Mayor and past City Planner reaping personal benefits from this software. As far as the City facilities being used for this venture I would feel that is inappropriate the City in the future will need all the space it has. Was the space offered to any other business entity? This whole thing should be reviewed before any decisions are made.
I feel that the Mayor is taking advantage of the City for personal gain. He is a lame duck and we can not allow this type of activity to take place.
