 Rich County Sheriff's Office is hiring a new Deputy, we have been given the green light to add another Officer to the ranks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 21 years old

Must have a valid Drivers License

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be LEO certified or able to meet the requirements of certification

Must be willing to submit to and pass random drug screening.

JOB DUTIES:

Enforce state laws as directed

Traffic enforcement

Criminal investigations

Public safety operations, directing traffic, accident investigation

Criminal arrests and booking

Shift work and overtime

Must be on call when needed

Public relations and service

Court appearances and testifying as to evidence and criminal activity

Must be self motivated and have a good work ethic.
