I hope everyone got to enjoy Labor Day at the Lake! Well if July was a dry month August certainly made up for it. The graph is of the current water year to date and shows the Upper Bear region preciptation is 129% of the 20 yr average. August precipitation alone was at 199% of average...that is 2.4" of water (avg is 1.6" water).
And September to date has kept the trend going with another 1.1" of water since Sept 1st (vs 0.5" avg.). September averages 2.3" of water so the month is off to a good start.
