Commission Meeting Sept. 6th
10:00 Public
Hearing for the revised Noise Control Ordinance and the closed. Discussion on
the updated County ordinances to be placed on County website. Motion made and
passed to add all ordinances to the website. Benn Willoughby, County Attorney,
said all ordinances have been updated.
10:15 Bill
Cox presented the MOU with Sovereign Lands Bike Path Agreement and sanitation
agreement. The RFP is $13,000. Sovereign
lands has provided their own law enforcement.
1030 Kim
Wilson presented a personal property tax exemption for Matt Sneyd on SWH. This
was passed.
10:45
LouJean Argyle, Treasurer, presented a PTIF document to the Commission to keep
the clerk and Chairman on the bank accounts. This was passed.
Motion to
use Jones & DeMille as Rich County Engineers for 4 years with a review to
extend 2 more years. Motion passed.
Ambulance
rates were discussed and will be on next month’s agenda.
(Rich County
residents need to check their Insurance policies to see what they cover as far
as ambulance service and life flight).
