(KUTV) -- A driver was killed after his car rolled over several times in Rich County, according to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP).
Christian Flores, a 23-year-old from West Haven, was traveling westbound on state road 30 just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Officials believe Flores was speeding.
Near milepost 133, Flores' red Ford F150 left the roadway to the right, he overcorrected to the left and rolled several times, according to UHP. Flores was wearing a seat belt, but he was killed during the rollover.
An hour before the crash, Flores had stopped at a Chevron gas station in Garden City. A motorist called police about Flores and reported him for reckless driving, according to UHP.
At the time, there were no police officers available to respond to the call, due to a cattle truck rollover in Laketown Canyon. Alcohol impairment is suspected to be a contributing factor, according to UHP.
Kathie Anderson, Reporter for the Rich Civic Times, reports that emergency personnel were at the accident site for over 3 hours.
