Saturday, November 3, 2012 Work Day Planned To
Re-route Providence Canyon Trail On The Logan Ranger District

The Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest invites the public to attend two designated work days in Providence Canyon. Volunteers will be doing finish work using rakes and shovels and moving road base and gravel. Time and weather permitting, we will transplant native Rocky Mtn. maple trees within the project area. The purpose of the project is to re-route the trail, complete finish work, move road base and gravel and tree replanting.

When: Saturday, October 27, 2012, 9:00am – 1:00pm Saturday, November 3, 2012, 9:00am – 1:00pm

Volunteers should wear personal protection equipment, such as; hat, long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection and sunscreen if necessary. You will also need plenty of water. Volunteers are asked to meet at 9:00am at the parking area located approximately 2 miles up Providence Canyon. Tools and equipment will be onsite.
